Little Greene Ambleside Paint No. 304

In 1905, Hill Top Farm in Ambleside was purchased by legendary children’s author Beatrix Potter as a home away from London. The farmhouse was outfitted and furnished with many bargains from local sales and reflected Beatrix’s eclectic style. This attractive dark green paint colour, with a soft blue undertone, was used to complement the William Morris-designed daisy-patterned wallpaper in Beatrix’s bedroom.
