One of the largest and best-preserved patterns in the archive, this design features a 39" repeat and an unusual 32" width, so that each strip is substantially wider than the standard 20" roll of wallpaper. Found in the back bedroom of a house built for the "lesser nobility", the surviving example had originally been boarded, with additional flowers retrospectively added by hand to mask the seams in the paper.
