Little Greene Wilton Wallpaper - Pad

A classic damask design that is very typical of the large-scale pomegranate patterns popular in the mid-18th century, this would have originally been a flocked wallpaper hung in a grand English house. Flock papers were an English specialty and in fact , were merely imitations of expensive textiles, but were nevertheless expensive to produce and a bold statement of luxury and social status.
