This extravagant floral design featuring large stylized poppies is a classic example of those in production in the late 19th century. Although the designer is unknown, it is thought to have been the work of Arthur L. Gwatkin who produced papers of a very similar feel. This wallpaper was found on the walls of the hallway leading to the top of the Felbrigg Hall staircase, as well as a rolled-up sample in the attic stores. Colored in five tonal colors, each with striking motifs.
